We Will Not Be Erased

Every year, ECS Tifo pins a Pride match on our calendar, knowing that we want to show up for our community. Recent displays have ranged in theme from community to protest to a giant rainbow stretching across the Brougham End.
This year, the concept discussion didn’t take long. This display was born from the brain of someone raised within ECS, the idea forming before the group started discussions in the spring. When we heard the concept, we said hell yes.
When we saw the design, it got a little dusty.
A march of color led by a simple message: We will not be erased.
Tying together the March to the Match, something so ingrained in ECS gameday traditions, with a colorful, powerful statement. A bright mass of people on a curtain blending into the crowd in the stadium. It felt like the exact right message for the current unfortunate times, and it is a simple acknowledgement of where ECS stands.
Members of the LGBTQIA+ community are welcomed here, they are safe here, and they will have their voices heard here.
