I’ve been watching soccer for decades, but due to a career in comedy and live theater, was never in the same place long enough to connect to a local team. In 2012, however, a short-term winter contract led me to Seattle, and a friend (and fellow ECS member) brought me to my first Sounders match, where I stood in the North End and watched Brad Evans score a brace, and was hooked immediately. I joined ECS the following February, and never looked back. I began volunteering as a writer in 2020, took over coordination of the Match Preview in 2024.
