I went to my first sounders match in 2010 and was hooked from that day on. The energy of the section got in my soul. The funny thing was even though I did a few soccer camps growing up, it was never my thing. I still don’t completely understand everything on the pitch, but I love it and maybe someday I will grasp it all.
I went to a number of matches in 2011, was coming to most matches in 2012 where I stared being asked to help out in Security every so often. In 2013 I was part of the crew. As of this year, 2026, I am starting my 14th season as part of security in one form or another and 13th doing it full time and at this point am the longest serving member of the team.
I enjoy watching over the section, protecting its members, even at times from themselves. My most important objective is to keep our supporters in the section, keep everyone safe, to the match, and hope they make it home after every match.
In my almost 47 years besides being the IT guy I am in my day job I have been a bouncer, private personal security, a trained mediator, trained deescalation member, managed or owned a few small businesses not just in IT, and a whole host of other things. I am a total scifi guy, an old soul, a bit country at heart, lover of board games, and the list goes on.
Feel free to stop by, say hi, introduce yourself, any time you see me. I am almost always at the top of the section above 122 in the middle during home matches.
