FUCK ICE, CHINGA LA MIGRA
In June 2025, Seattle Sounders FC played in the FIFA Club World Cup, hosting 3 matches in Seattle against international football giants Botofogo, Athletico Madrid, & Paris Saint Germain. Earlier that month, an army of ICE and DHS agents had laid siege to Los Angeles. Angelenos responded with immediate and pointed actions against ICE, both in the streets and their football stadiums.
Here in Seattle, Emerald City Supporters took to the world stage of international competition to add our voices in solidarity. With banners and chants inside and outside our stadium, we called attention to the violence of ICE presence at football stadiums and in our lives.
Our message remains clear and steadfast in solidarity with everyone in Minneapolis and across the continent facing the horrors of border policing and not backing down: FUCK ICE.
We implore lovers of the beautiful game across the country and the world to stand together with us, with the affected immigrant communities, with the community defenders taking to the streets, in saying it loud and clear: FUCK ICE, CHINGA LA MIGRA

We sing “When it’s us, vs them, you can always count on me”. That is a full stop, when you attack one of us, you attack all of us. We will use our voices to protect our communities and speak out against injustice.
